Simply put, Woodtone recycles. More correctly, we reduce, reuse and recycle.
Reduce:
- Seeking suppliers that use fuel efficient means of shipping, therefore, reducing the amount of materials they use in conducting their business with us
- Purchasing from local suppliers to reduce travel time
- Turning off all lighting, computers and office equipment every evening
- Using email instead of printing memos
Reuse:
- Using recycled printing paper and shipping materials
- Reusing lumber wrap from suppliers
- Only using shipping boxes manufactured from recycled materials
- Making double-sided photocopies
Recycle:
- All aluminum cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles and paper products consumed in the office
- Printer toner cartridges
- Lumber wrap
- Metal banding
With corporate policies in place, we are commited to making the right decisions when it comes to protecting the environment and these are just a few ways we are attempting to do our part.
