After losing the tips of two of his fingers related to the jointer machine many years ago, Rustyn found himself afraid....no.....petrified! His home is where he lay.... out of arms reach of any type of machinery. There is where he wallowed in his own fear and troubled mind. Hours....Days.....Months went by, Rustyn would not show his finger to anyone from fear of discrimination....or it could have been because of the bandages in which his doctor said he was not aloud to remove, but nonetheless, Rustyn was AFRAID! Well Rustyn would fear no more!! 1996 would prove to be a big year for Rustyn as he found himself carrier driven and on his way back into the lumber industry with Woodtone Building Products. Eleven years later, and Rustyn has seemed to have accumulated the nick name...KNUBBY!! (not very promising)!!!
