Chris first joined Woodtone as the Shipper, fresh out of UBC Commerce way back in 1992. In those early years, Chris promptly fired every local shipping company, until he ran out of companies to deal with and went back to the top of the list. Leaving a few years later to return to school in England, he earned an appreciation for great beer, F1, footy, and, oh yeah, an MBA. From there, Chris moved to Toronto and joined a management consulting firm and worked with Fortune 500 companies. Along the way, he earned enough Aeroplan points to travel around the world many times. Finally tiring of the lifestyle, Chris returned to Vancouver in 2001 and enjoyed an early retirement - at least for 6-7 months - before returning to the Woodtone fold. Today, Chris and his brother Kevin share the role of CEO, together driving the business forward.
