Born on the North Shore of Vancouver with a pair of skis attached to his legs, Mike began his career early in life working on the local ski mountains in Vancouver, patrolling the slopes in search of the early morning powder. While completing studies at Simon Fraser University, Mike advanced to the Director of Risk Management for Cypress Bowl Resorts, managing media and outside agencies during crisis situations. His experiences and education built a foundation for the future and his change to the business world was imminent. With various sales and marketing management roles at Chevron Canada and BC Hot House Foods, Mike found his new home at Woodtone. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Woodtone, Mike has the ominous task of keeping the team focused on the present and the future, searching for new ways to add value for our customers and suppliers – there is no point in standing still around Mike as he is always moving and you need to keep up.
