Ben Good is the Director of Sales for Woodtone and has been with the company since 2006. His biggest strength is positivity. He believes there is no issue or challenge that Woodtone can’t overcome for its customers and business. He understands the balance and needs of both Woodtone and its customers to deliver great partnerships. Some may not know that Ben has experience as a competitive BBQ pitmaster! He has competed across the Pacific Northwest and Canada in competition BBQ events! He also has two young sons, and a cat named Fluffy (he swears it was already named when they got him!) Ben has grown up living in every Province in Canada and believes there is no better place than the Fraser Valley.

Brad Roach is a member of the Customer Support Team in the Woodtone Chilliwack office.

His personal core values of teamwork and service and his ability to build strong client relationships have translated into a successful career in sales and customer service.

Brad enjoys travelling, playing golf and exploring local parks and trails with his better half and their Pitbull Reese P. Buttercup.

Brad Rosse is the CEO & President of Woodtone. His godfather opened the business in 1977 and his father had a 30-year career with the company. Brad wanted to be a part of the team because his father never once complained about his job. Daily, Brad can be found talking strategy, opportunities and challenges, as well as meeting with people, inspiring and supporting the team. He cares about the people he works with, and about the future of Woodtone. When he is away from the office, Brad can be found spending time with his four children (all named after Major League baseball players!) on the sports field 7 days a week. He also loves to golf and tell stories with friends. Brad grew up in the Fraser Valley and had an amazing childhood building long-lasting friendships in the area, and he hopes his kids can do the same!

Brad Willard works in Order Management for Woodtone. He has been with the company for over 10 years! He appreciates the community involvement and the culture of the company. Brad keeps busy with hobbies such as baseball and volleyball. He also spends his time driving his two children to their various sports practices and games. He enjoys life in the scenic landscape of the Fraser Valley with his family and two cats, Roxie and Oatmeal.

Cale Kids is a Territory Manager for Woodtone. He helps manage the Texas market and drives the demand for all the product lines. Cale brings a great knowledge of the market and relationships with customers in the market. He appreciates the team environment and family-owned atmosphere at Woodtone. Cale is an outdoor enthusiast; spending his time away from work hunting and exploring the woods and mountains. He has three children and a chocolate lab named Maggie.

In his 10th year with Woodtone, Carl works on the Strategic Accounts team and is also the Territory Manager for Northern California. He enjoys working with the architectural design community, as well as with Woodtone’s distribution and dealer network. Carl’s been recognized by Woodtone and his customers for excellent service and relationships. Carl is always up for an adventure, especially on skis or in a whitewater raft.

Chris Young is a Principal at Woodtone. In 2004 Chris had a decade of outside experience and with the support of his brother Kevin, he felt they had the opportunity to take Woodtone to another level, leveraging and building upon the foundation that Jim (their father) had built before them. Chris brings strategic and analytical thinking to Woodtone and loves spending time with a fantastic group of friends and family members while at work. Aside from work, Chris’ favorite hobby is snow skiing with his family. He has three children and loves living in the Fraser Valley, especially his cabin at Cultus Lake, where he hopes his kids have the same experience growing up as he did!

Craig has been the Vice President of Operations for Woodtone since 2017. He enjoys being a part of the positive culture, collaborating with an exceptional team and great partners, all while contributing to Woodtone’s exciting and continuing growth story.
Craig can be found working closely with his team, focusing on strategy and execution, challenging the status quo, identifying opportunities for good change and striving to be better in everything we do, every day. When away from Woodtone, Craig enjoys the outdoors, nature, landscaping, puttering around the house and spending quality time at the cabin. Craig also loves jumping on the dirt bike for a few excursions in the mountains. He and his wife, Wendy, have two young adult sons and two dogs; a Golden Doodle boy named Cooper and a Biewer Terrier girl named Oakley.

Dave Garrett is the Director of Remanufacturing at Woodtone. He has been with the company since June 2000. His specialty in the company is the years of history and understanding more than just his role. He understands how each role in the company affects and fits in with the big picture. Dave loves skiing in the winter, even instructing for twenty-five years. In the summer months, he enjoys playing golf. Dave has three sons, two dogs, a cat, a turtle, and a fish! His favorite part about living in the Fraser Valley is the four seasons and the proximity to the water and mountains for outdoor activities.

David attended Lamar University in Southeast Texas and began his career as an entrepreneur in which he started a successful general contracting business for over 14 years. Later he added owning a chain of paint stores along the Gulf Coast, as well as  several fast food restaurants in Texas and Louisiana. He left the construction industry to pursue a career in the insurance industry only to return to his calling of the construction industry and joined Woodtone in 2022. David works in the Houston market, East/Southeast Texas market and will grow Woodtone into South Louisiana.

In his spare time, David enjoys spending weekends out on the water with family and friends and playing golf.

Hal is the President of Woodtone Specialties division in Armstrong, BC. The Specialties division is the premier producer of engineered wood product solutions for our valued customer partners.
Hal has been in the forest products and building materials industry all his adult life. He is passionate about value add as it relates to the future of the forest products industry in British Columbia.
Hal’s role entails leveraging Woodstone’s enormous strengths and amazing culture to facilitate the Specialties division. He considers it an honor to work with all the incredible individuals at Woodtone. He is also passionate about Woodtone’s approach to building a meaningful business that supports individuals, families, and the community.
Hal spends as much time as possible with his son who makes him proud every day. When he’s not at work he is usually found outdoors up in the mountains.

Hans Bauer is a Territory Sales Manager for Woodtone working remotely in Texas. He brings his passion to the position and enjoys being a part of a team that is focusing on the future! Hans is a great cook, and would love to be a fishing guide! His favorite pastime is playing soccer; he even volunteers for his son’s soccer team. Hans stays busy with his eight children (which includes three sets of twins!) So he can be found spending time with his family when he is not at work.

Jane Thompson is part of the Order Management team at Woodtone. Jane hails from the Ukraine and has been in Canada for 12 years now. After completing the Diploma of Business Admin program at UFV Jane found a passion in customer service field. She thoroughly enjoys working with people and developing relationships with Woodtone coworkers and customers alike. Outside of work you can find Jane out and about in search of new adventures.

Jean-Michel “JM” is the VP, Business Development and Lumber Supply at Woodtone’s Chilliwack office. What we have in JM is an incredibly intelligent leader who relentlessly chases execution in a thoughtful and precise way. Outside of work, JM is an avid woodworker and home renovator. He enjoys playing with his two daughters, golfing, skiing and travelling. JM brings experience in Primary manufacturing and sawmilling and a passion for wood products to Woodtone.

Jeb is a Territory Manager covering the Upper Midwest states of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. He has over 30 years of factory-finishing experience and loves the building industry for its unique ability to conduct most business with a handshake. Jeb is a Marine Corp veteran, likes to boat and golf, and especially likes volunteering for community and church activities that help other people.

Jeff Corneil joined Woodtone in 2017 as the US Sales Manager – Distribution. Daily, Jeff can be found at his desk, using a calculator, and vigorously rubbing his forehead. He brings almost 20 years of Sales and Marketing experience from different industries which helps him in developing sales teams to strategically grow and enhance the business. Outside of work, he enjoys playing hockey, golf, skiing, and socializing with friends. Jeff is married with 3 older children, living in Surrey BC.

Jennifer Lowe is the Director of People & Culture at Woodtone. She is a CPHR and has over 20 years of experience in retail, warehousing and construction. Jennifer is passionate about providing exceptional service and developing employees at every level of the organization. She believes in continuous learning, building trusting relationships, and bringing authenticity and positivity into every situation. Away from work, Jennifer loves a good book, watching a movie on opening night, and spending time with her husband, two children and two cats named after Marvel characters.

In 1989 Jim Young took over Woodtone and created a lasting legacy. Jim retired in 2006 but has always remained involved in an advisory capacity. Jim and his wife Judy enjoy spending time with their kids and grandkids. They also enjoy traveling, spending time in warm Palm Springs. Recently, Jim conquered a life long dream of climbing Machu Pichu!

John Hamlot is the Director of Customer Experience at the Woodtone Everett facility. He has been part of the team since 1995! He has copious amounts of knowledge and passion in the industry and enjoys working with his team members and the high-quality products Woodtone offers. John’s favorite past times are golfing, doing yard work, and playing with his kids!  He currently volunteers with boy scouts. John has a dog and a cat and lives in Snohomish, where he enjoys a laidback and peaceful lifestyle.

Kate Steiert is the Composite Manager for Woodtone’s Chilliwack office. She can be found talking to suppliers, ordering material, organizing trucks, entering productions, and monitoring inventory levels. She says she brings a little American attitude, with a splash of sarcasm to the Woodtone atmosphere. Something you may not know is that she is a US Navy Vet. Kate’s favorite activities are watching the New England Patriots and ATV’ing. She also loves her pets: an English bulldog named Abigail, and three cats!

Katrina Myrhoj works as Inside Sales Manager for Woodtone. She has been with the team for over eight years and can be found entering orders, speaking with customers and quoting jobs. Her specialty in the Chilliwack office is that she is dubbed the mother hen! Katrina is a strong advocate for women’s rights and the #metoo movement. She has two daughters that she taxi’s around when she is not at work!

Ken has been a friend of Woodtone’s for over two decades and continues to be involved in an advisory capacity. His extensive and varied experience is invaluable to the Woodtone team. Ken is a passionate golfer and enjoys hitting the green with Jim and other friends. He is a passionate family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and their family.

Kevin Young is a Principal of Woodtone. After joining the team to work with his family, he has been with the company for over 25 years. Kevin’s job is to understand the impacts of tomorrow on the business today. He spends a significant amount of time with Brad and Hal; analyzing the historical business data and future trends to help drive great decision-making. Kevin believes the Woodtone Team is second to none, and he loves the significant number of second-generation team members that have decided to make Woodtone the future of their careers. When Kevin is not at the office, he can be found watching his three sons play hockey and rugby. He currently lives in West Vancouver with his family and their retrievers, Lucy and Lola.

Laurence Taylor is a key member of our Strategic Accounts – Architects team, bringing over five years of experience to the role. His expertise spans carpentry, design, project management, and business development, showcasing a diverse skill set that enhances our team’s capabilities. Laurence is also known for his keen sense of humor, often brightening the office with his pranks.

Outside of work, Laurence is a dedicated rugby fan, with a particular fondness for the All Blacks, which he watches with enthusiasm. He is a devoted father to two daughters, Abigail, aged 5, and Piper, aged 2. Laurence treasures living on the edge of the Canadian wilderness, appreciating the serene beauty of nature while still enjoying the proximity to one of the world’s most vibrant cities.

Les Timar is the Senior Lumber Supply Manager at Woodtone and has been with the team for over 28 years! The main specialty Les brings to Woodtone is his strong conviction that honesty, effort, and integrity are the keys to success – there is no substitute for hard work! You may not know that Les played competitive badminton for over fifty years and currently holds a Canadian National Championship title in men’s doubles. Les is also the president of the Abbotsford Badminton Club, which keeps him active and allows him to help develop the skills of the club’s younger members! Les has three children and two grandchildren.

Mike Pidlisecky is the VP of Sales and Marketing for Woodtone. He has been with the company for 19 years! You can typically find him speed walking from one meeting to another, or in the “Pid Shack” planning and building for the future. Mike brings energy, passion, fun and focus with a crazy shot of creativity to the office. Mike loves skiing with his better half, golfing, red wine and Cabo! He has two grown sons who he has spent nine years coaching baseball and soccer for. His favorite part about living in the Fraser Valley is its closeness to the Interior and Mt. Baker. Along with golf and blueberries!

Randy Scanks is the Chief Financial Officer at Woodtone. What brought him to Woodtone was his strong desire to be in the manufacturing and wood industry, the great working environment, and the company philosophy of product innovation and customer satisfaction. He brings a blend of financial and operational experience to the workplace! Randy’s number one passion in life, however, is his lawn. He is also a Treasurer/Board Member of the Sullivan Community Association and volunteers in his free time. He has two daughters and a cat, named Toffee. He enjoys the ample recreational and cultural aspects of living in the Fraser Valley.

Shane has spent more than 25 years in the BC forest industry and his role supports the growth of Woodtone’s engineered wood product programs through the Specialty Division in Armstrong, BC. Shane leverages his experience to drive new product/market opportunities and supply chain management. Daily you can find Shane talking with supply partners to assist in keeping materials coming into our operations and working with our sales team and our customers in growing our business in their markets for specialty wood products. Shane lives in Deep Cove with his spouse Patty and their two sons where they enjoy spending time on the sports fields and in the mountains of the Northshore.

Spenser Takacs is part of the Inside Sales team at Woodtone. He has over ten years of experience under his belt from working in the custom plant and is well versed in the production process, paints and coatings. Currently, his day includes speaking with customers, order entry, and joking around with his co-workers. Spenser has his degree in kinesiology and loves playing sports and being active. His extracurriculars also include spending time with his wife and travelling.

Tess Sarich is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Woodtone. She is extremely passionate about all things marketing, including brand management, digital analytics, and market segmentation. When she’s not busy supporting the growth of the Woodtone brand, you can find her outside camping, hiking, boating, or adventuring with her husband and adorable Labradoodle, Finley. Tess also appreciates a good glass of wine and enjoys hanging out at local breweries!

Trevor is a Territory Manager for North Texas. Graduated from the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig) after playing soccer his first two years in college. Trevor started in the industry in 2015 in Dallas and brings knowledge and relationships that have been built as a manufacture rep. In his free time, Trevor enjoy playing golf, shooting sporting clays and hanging out with his wife and new baby girl!

Tim Folster is a Sales Manager for Strategic Accounts at Woodtone. He has been with the company for 16 years and was originally brought to Woodtone by answering an ad in the paper! Daily he can be found talking loudly on the phone and working closely with Inside Sales, Production and Strategic Accounts team to grow Woodtone sales across the US. Tim’s pastimes include disappearing into the mountains with his skis and chasing his two children around a sports field. His favorite thing about the Fraser Valley is that he’s never too far from the ocean, a golf course, or a ski hill.

Travis Kissner is a Territory Manager for Woodtone’s Everett office and has been with the company for 18 years! He has many duties, some of which include job site visits, developing new territories, working with pro dealers and contractor salespeople. His specialties include managing multiple accounts and territories and his long-time knowledge and experience in the industry. Aside from work, Travis enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with his wife and kids at their beach home. He has two grand-doggies named Benji and Kona and lives in Puyallup Valley which he thinks is a wonderful place!

Travis Torrence graduated college from Morehead State University in 2004 with a BA in Geography. Travis had other plans but lucked out and found the building material industry by accident. He has been in sales for most of his career with a few years working as a corporate trainer. Travis is the Territory Manager for Woodtone covering the Midwest states of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Travis have been married for 17 years and have three children. One of his greatest passions outside of being with my family is coaching youth soccer.

Wayne has been involved with Woodtone for over two decades on the supply sides, holding senior positions throughout the industry. Recently Wayne has retired to focus more on health and family but remains involved in the industry of which he is extremely passionate. As a native Ontario resident, Wayne is also one of the few supporters left of the Toronto Maple Leafs!
